Fulcrum Arts champions creative and critical thinkers at the intersection of art and science to provoke positive social change and contribute to a more vibrant and inclusive community. Its vision is to be an influential cultivator of art and science-informed actions that illuminate vital social and humanitarian perspectives. The organization focuses on the interplay and interconnectedness between art and science across the spheres of human creative achievement and reflect on the diverse cultural groups that comprise the Pacific Rim. This geographic focus favors a multicultural dialogue, decentralizing Eurocentric historical narratives in favor of more inclusive perspectives. Fulcrum Arts engages artists by providing connections and support through major interdisciplinary festivals; performances and symposia; commissions of artwork; residencies in collaboration with scientists; and now through their online space, Sequencing.
